    Fantastic Villa with lovely hosts. Although the hosts live upstairs, they were very discreet. There are two en-suite bedrooms, plus another bedroom and two separate bathrooms. There are also a few outdoor areas to relax; the pool, a lovely sunbathing garden near the entrance and a large dining veranda. There is also a separate kitchen near the pool with a barbecue and a large dining table; it even has its own fridge-freezer, sink and set of crockery. The main area of Crikvenica is a 15 minute walk down a steep hill, and there are lots of excellent restaurants there. We tried Stella, Mykonos, Gostiona Zrinski and Bistro Corso and all were excellent and good value. Prices were similar to UK, €5-6 for a large beer and €10-15 for a standard burger and chips. Whilst staying here we did one of the boat excursions to Vrbnik on Krk which was nice. We also visited Plitvice National Park which was stunning although around a 2 hour drive away. There is a pebble and a sand beach in Crikvenica, both of which were nice but quite busy. We would highly recommend both the villa and the resort to anyone.
